Industrial Cleaner
About The Position
As an Industrial Cleaner, you are the backbone of safety and efficiency at our client’s automotive assembly plant. Working as a dedicated Sanitation Specialist, your daily routine will include cleaning paint booth stations and surrounding areas using approved industrial chemicals, removing paint overspray from windows, stairs, ceilings, and concrete floors, assisting with deep project cleaning, including lifting and moving metal flooring grates, operating machinery such as pressure washers and hydraulic scrapers, and acting as a facility Custodian by replacing filters, reporting maintenance issues, and working safely in confined or elevated spaces.
Requirements
- Strong work ethic
- Great attendance record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in hot/confined environments with provided safety gear
- Dependability: An excellent attendance and on-time record is a must.
- Communication: Ability to understand daily written and verbal instructions/safety training.
- Physical Stamina: Able to stand, walk, kneel, crawl, bend, and lift/move up to 50 lbs throughout your shift.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in hot or dirty industrial environments (all proper PPE is fully provided!).
- Safety-First Mindset: Willingness to complete required safety training, including Ladder Safety and Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
