About The Position

The overall purpose of this position is to provide general cleaning services and maintaining an attractive, sanitary and safe facility. This includes cleaning assigned areas such as vessels, offices, restrooms, carpets, and walls, as well as maintaining floors by sweeping, wet/dry mopping, and vacuuming carpets to ensure safety and proper maintenance. The role also involves maintaining cleaning supplies and equipment, removing trash and garbage, and responding to immediate safety and operational concerns to resolve issues and maintain a functional manufacturing environment. The position may require working any shift and performing tasks outside of the standard craft as needed. Requirements

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Perform simple math such as adding, subtracting and measuring.
• 18 years of age or older at time of application.
• Able to provide proof of US Person Status
• Willing to submit to a drug screen
• Willing to submit to a background check
• No felony convictions of Theft/Deception or Violent crimes within seven years from disposition date
• No felony convictions of Drug crimes within three years from disposition date

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems that may arise in certain situations.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas (vessels, offices, restrooms, carpet, walls, furniture etc.)
• Maintain floors (sweeps, wet/dry mops, dust mops, vacuum carpets, etc) for the purpose of ensuring safety and proper maintenance of facility.
• Maintains supplies and equipment (cleaning solutions, paper products, vacuum, mops, etc,) for the purpose of ensuring the availability of items required to properly stock facilities.
• Removes trash and garbage for the purpose of maintaining a sanitary and safe environment.
• Responds to immediate safety and/or operational concerns for the purpose of taking appropriate action to resolve immediate safety issues and maintaining a functional manufacturing environment.
• May be assigned to work any shift.
• May be assigned tasks outside craft as required.
