About The Position
Parallel Employment Group, in partnership with a customer in the Buffalo, NY area, is currently looking for an experienced Assembler. The ideal candidate will have a steady hand and great attention to detail. Knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and wiring assembly is essential. This is a full-time, temporary-to-hire position, working Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Requirements
- 2 or more years of related experience/training
- Proficiency in hydraulic, mechanical and wiring assembly
- Strong hands-on skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Self-directed, always looking ahead and is detail oriented
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints and drawings to build product according to specifications
- Measuring with a tape measure and ruler while using basic math and reasoning skills
- Assembling, testing and packaging various hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical assemblies
- Assembling and managing stock levels for multiple sub assemblies
- Organizing inventory in an accurate manner
