Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive sales experience, with leadership or team management responsibility.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience within distribution (industrial/electrical preferred).
  • Strong understanding of industrial products, applications, and customer segments.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and developing high-performing teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing sales team by fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
  • Directly supervise team members, set clear performance expectations, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
  • Lead both direct and indirect reports to achieve sales and development goals.
  • Drive talent decisions including hiring, performance management, and career development.
  • Coach and mentor industrial sales associates to improve capability, engagement, and results.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to grow market share, revenue, and gross profit.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of market trends through customer engagement, competitive insights, and industry networking.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with key customers and manufacturer partners.
  • Partner with general and sales managers to align regional strategy and achieve company objectives.
  • Establish and manage annual and long-range sales, profitability, and expense goals.
