This role leads industrial-focused sales strategy for the market, aligns resources to maximize customer penetration, and strengthens key manufacturer and customer partnerships. The goal is to position Viking Electric as the distributor of choice across the regional industrial market. The position involves management responsibilities including building, leading, and developing a high-performing sales team, directly supervising team members, setting clear performance expectations, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, and driving talent decisions such as hiring, performance management, and career development. The role also includes coaching and mentoring industrial sales associates to improve capability, engagement, and results. Additionally, the Industrial Area Sales Manager will develop and execute regional sales strategies, maintain market trend knowledge, build relationships with key customers and manufacturer partners, align regional strategy with company objectives, and establish sales, profitability, and expense goals.
