Requirements

  • Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in the electrical distribution or related industry.
  • Knowledge of Industrial, Commercial, or Residential sales preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for building customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven attitude with the ability to work independently.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-person meetings with prospective and existing customers.
  • Identify new business opportunities and provide tailored solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Present, promote, and educate customers on products and provide innovative solutions.
  • Partner with inside sales, warehouse, and delivery teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
  • Attend trade shows, networking events, and other industry functions.
