The Indirect Tax Team is responsible for the design, implementation, and defense of indirect tax strategies and positions. The Indirect Tax Manager – Sales and Use Tax Audits will play a critical role in managing and defending domestic non-income tax audits, including sales and use tax, business license tax, gross receipts tax, and other indirect taxes. This role requires a highly analytical professional who enjoys digging into complex tax issues at the transaction level, evaluating large volumes of data, and developing well-supported tax positions. The successful candidate will investigate and respond to tax authority challenges involving hundreds of thousands of transaction records, tracing issues from audit assessments back to individual invoices, product classifications, exemption determinations, sourcing decisions, and operational processes. This position provides technical leadership, supports process improvements, and helps mitigate indirect tax risk across the organization. The Manager reports to the Director of Indirect Tax – Sales and Use Tax Audits and collaborates extensively with tax professionals, business partners, and operational teams across the organization.
