The Indirect Specialist's role is to increase the Credit Union's portfolio of loans and other financial services initiated through relationships with auto dealers and other retail businesses capable of extending the Credit Union services to members and potential members. This role involves processing and deciding indirect dealer applications, communicating loan decisions to dealerships in a timely manner, and being responsible for funding, auditing, and maintaining indirect loan contracts. The specialist will also call on area dealerships and businesses to establish and maintain indirect lending channels, promote the Credit Union's loan services, train finance personnel, and monitor the program as a liaison between the Credit Union and the dealer/retail network. The role also includes performing other job-related duties as assigned.
