About The Position

USAID requires Indirect Rate Specialists to review, analyze, and negotiate indirect cost rate agreements (NICRAs) for contractors and grantees as part of final closeout and financial reconciliation.

Review, analyze, and negotiate provisional and final indirect cost rates in accordance with federal cost principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Business, Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years experience negotiating indirect rates for a federal agency.
• Ability to work independently without performing inherently governmental functions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth analysis of indirect cost pools, bases, and forecasts.
• Prepare negotiation objectives and execute rate negotiations.
• Maintain NICRA documentation and audit files.
• Coordinate with auditors, COs/AOs, and legal teams.
