About The Position
USAID’s Office of Acquisition and Assistance (OAA) manages acquisition and assistance actions across the Agency. HCTM’s Off boarding & Post Employment division requires HR specialists to process complex Civil Service and Foreign Service retirement cases. Independently execute complex retirement case files including service history reconciliation and benefits documentation.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of federal retirement systems (CSRS, FERS, FEHB, FEGLI, TSP, OWCP).
- Equivalent experience to GS-12/13 HR retirement processing.
Responsibilities
- Review retirement cases for accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and resolve retirement coverage discrepancies.
- Prepare case packets for OPM or State submission.
- Support peer reviews and retirement-related QA.
