About The Position

The Indirect Loan Processor I reviews, audits, and funds dealer loans from LOS to CORE. The role delivers professional and efficient loan services to members and dealers by phone or email. The position ensures accurate and timely processing of loan applications in accordance with lending policies and limits. The Indirect Loan Processor maintains compliance with all appropriate organizational policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulations. This role conducts transactions on member accounts accurately and in compliance with established policies, procedures and state and federal regulations. The position provides exceptional service by maintaining knowledge of all products, services, organizational policies and procedures. The position must be able to work before or after hours, Saturdays and holidays on an as needed basis depending on the workload or special projects. The processor must participate in training annually or as required for BSA and the Privacy Act.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • 1 year customer service experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Work, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively on a team.
  • Ability to work at a rapid pace
  • Professional demeanor, appearance and work habits.
  • Organized, detail oriented and ability to multitask.
  • Strong mathematical aptitude.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of indirect lending/ dealer services, a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Review audit and fund loans from Loan Origination System (LOS) to CORE.
  • Verification and scanning of contracts.
  • Contact and follow up with dealers for missing information or documents in loan package.
  • Speak with contracted applicants (per procedures) to verify information provided by the dealer.
  • Maintain knowledge of Achieva Credit Union’s lending procedures and guidelines related to the position.
  • Maintain knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements as they related to the position.
  • Participate in annual training or as required by BSA and the Privacy Act.
  • Attend required meetings and training sessions as requested.
  • Communicate professionally and efficiently with all departments to promote teamwork and high-quality member service.
  • Provide prompt, friendly, and accurate service to internal and external customers.
  • Cross train and act as back-up for other areas within the department. On rare occasion or temporarily, support areas outside of the Consumer Lending Department.
  • Keep immediate supervisor, Indirect Underwriters and Credit Manager apprised of any dealer issues, including but not limited to misrepresentation by the applicant or dealer.
  • Represent the credit union with professionalism and courtesy in all interactions.
  • Uphold the highest ethical standards in all interactions and responsibilities.
  • Represent and uphold the Achieva Brand Frame.
  • Support leadership initiatives that position the credit union as a top employer.
  • Perform other essential functions as needed or assigned.
  • Travel may be required on occasion
  • Be available to work flexible hours including before or after hours, Saturdays and holidays on an as needed basis depending on workload or special projects.
