This position supports the following facilities with Indirect Purchases to support Manufacturing, Facility and Product Group needs: East Peoria Undercarriage, Mapleton Seals, Boonville, MO, and Sumter, SC.

Requirements

Effective Communications & Building Strong Interpersonal Relationships: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Problem Solving and Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems
Data-driven Decision Making: Ability to analyze data and provide insights to support sourcing decisions
Project Management: Knowledge of effective project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.

Responsibilities

Support customers and stakeholders as they purchase material and services to support manufacturing operations, facility maintenance and projects, and engineering functions.
Recognize the potential for cost reductions by engaging with business partners at the facility you support and with the Indirect Purchasing Category teams.
Work Collaboratively with suppliers, facility business partners and category teams to achieve cost savings and avoidance goals.
Collaborate with business partners and suppliers and resolve a wide variety of facility specific supplier issues.
Serve as a trusted resource to support compliance to Purchasing Practices and Enterprise Procedures around purchasing goods and services.
