The Indigenous Youth Housing Intern is a 9-month internship designed to provide Indigenous youth with hands-on experience in housing operations and community development. Reporting to the Director of Housing the successful candidate will gain practical skills in housing administration, maintenance, construction, tenant relations, and related areas while receiving mentorship and training to support future career opportunities. This internship is funded in part through CMHC's Indigenous Youth Housing Internship Program and is intended to support Indigenous youth in developing valuable skills and experience within the housing sector.
