About The Position

Decision Point is an evangelical non-profit organization focused on proclaiming the gospel to the next generation, specifically equipping, sending, and reaching students on their school campuses and online. The organization aims to expand its mission and advance the gospel, with a goal of being active in 25 areas by 2027 and coaching students through an online program. The Indianapolis Area Campus Ministry Staff role is designed to call the next generation of believers to be courageous witnesses for Christ, strengthening young leaders who are ready to stand for, live for, and witness for Christ. The role emphasizes the urgency of reaching students who have not heard about Jesus and involves coaching students, establishing and maintaining relationships with youth pastors and leaders, and being in the field 50-75% of the time during the ministry year (September-May).

  • High moral integrity, emotional health, social awareness and spiritual maturity.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.

  • Ministry experience in church or para-church setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coach students on a regular basis who are eager to reach their peers for Christ.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with youth pastors and leaders in the local churches and community.
  • Be in the field 50-75% of the time during the ministry year (September – May), either at a chapter site or visiting schools to coach students or connecting with pastors and other community leaders.
  • Partner with pastors, teachers, parents, and the general Christian community, and build these partnerships if they do not yet exist.
  • Involve in fundraising for both financial and prayer support by personally contacting churches, friends, and family to gather a team of partners.

Benefits

  • Annual salary range for this role is $48,000 - $64,000 based on experience and qualifications.
