About The Position
RepRally is an AI-powered online marketplace connecting independent retailers directly with thousands of CPG brands. We provide the digital platform, inventory, catalog, and logistics, while independent sales partners build local trust and grow their own book of business. This opportunity is for motivated, highly driven independent contractors to take over and grow their own local sales territory in the Baltimore Metro Area. As a 1099 Independent Sales Representative, you will run your own business, controlling your schedule, methods, and earning potential, supported by a mobile app and a catalog of thousands of top-selling items. You will target independent retailers such as convenience stores, gas stations, bodegas, liquor stores, smoke shops, and other independently owned businesses selling CPG goods. Your role involves independent outreach, walking into stores, pitching the RepRally platform, prospecting new stores, earning owner trust, managing client relationships, and using the mobile app to facilitate initial orders and secure continuous re-orders.
Requirements
- Experience in B2B sales, delivery routes, or independent contracting is a plus, but a refusal to give up is what matters.
- Comfort with cold pitching and not taking 'no' personally.
- Love the freedom of running your own day and executing your own sales strategy without a boss.
- Operate as your own entity.
- Provide your own valid driver's license.
- Provide a reliable vehicle to get around.
- Provide a smartphone with a data plan.
Responsibilities
- Targeting independent retailers across the Baltimore Metro Area.
- Walking into stores, getting past the counter, and pitching the RepRally platform directly to business owners.
- Prospecting new stores, earning the owner's trust, and managing your own client relationships.
- Using our mobile app right in the aisle to facilitate initial orders.
- Actively managing your accounts to secure continuous, high-volume re-orders.
