About The Position

Vanguard Claims Administration is seeking enthusiastic Independent Property Field Adjusters (1099 Contractors) in ATLANTA-GA, Virginia, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota, Oklahoma and North Carolina. This role involves conducting inspections of insureds' properties, writing estimates, and compiling claim reports. The ideal candidate will contact insureds to arrange property damage analysis, evaluate damages, and produce estimates using Xactimate and IA reports. It is crucial for Field Adjusters to provide compassionate, fast, fair, and easy customer service to ensure customer retention. This position requires independent work, prioritizing responsibilities, and managing workload while adhering to customer service standards for carriers.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3-5 years of estimating/insurance adjusting experience
• Applicable active license in the state you will be working (will be required to provide evidence of active license)
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to carry, set up and walk up and down a ladder
• Ability to access roofs
• Must be able to travel 90% of the time and work a non-traditional schedule (based on customer’s availability)
• Strong customer service experience
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to take initiative
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency in all aspects of Xactimate
