The Opportunity This is a commission-only independent contractor role with unlimited earning potential. You control your own schedule, generate your own leads, and build your own book of business. Ideal for experienced sales professionals or driven individuals looking to maximize their income in the home improvement industry.
Requirements
- A reliable vehicle, fuel, and basic sales tools (contractor is responsible for all work-related expenses)
- Proficiency with technology — CRM software, mobile apps, digital documents, and photo documentation
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently
Nice To Haves
- Sales experience in home improvement, roofing, or exterior remodeling is a plus
Responsibilities
- Prospect, generate leads, and build your own pipeline of customers
- Conduct in-home consultations, inspections, measurements, and photography
- Negotiate and execute customer contracts for exterior remodeling projects
- Document customer needs, special circumstances, and project specifications
- Prepare and submit all project paperwork (contracts, material specs, work orders, diagrams, change orders, etc.)
- For insurance projects: attend adjuster meetings, document damages, and complete supplement reviews
- Collect customer deposits and final payments
- Ensure customer satisfaction through project completion, including follow-up and referral requests
