We are seeking a reliable, patient, and attentive Independent Living Services (ILS) Instructor to provide one-on-one afternoon support on Tuesdays for an individual with Mild Intellectual Disability and Epilepsy. Services will focus on increasing independence in daily living skills, community navigation, and household responsibilities while ensuring safety and accessibility. The ideal candidate is adaptable, observant, and comfortable supporting an individual with visual impairment. The individual’s visual impairment may present unique challenges that staff must be prepared to address, including navigation & safety, and communication & accessibility. Supporting these needs may require additional training or preparation to ensure effective, safe, and respectful services. The individual’s location may present logistical considerations, including limited staff availability and transportation barriers.
