About The Position

Macon Resources, Inc. is seeking a team-oriented Independent Living Manager who is passionate about providing quality services and leading a dedicated team that supports individuals living in the Decatur area. This position requires an upbeat personality, positive attitude, and a strong commitment to implementing person-centered goals that promote independence and enhance the quality of life of those we serve. Under the general direction of the Vice President of Clinical Services, the Independent Living Manager provides case management, supervision, and training to staff and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) enrolled in the Intermittent CILA program. This position is responsible for directing the implementation of each individual's Person-Centered Plan (PCP), developing implementation strategies, coordinating services, monitoring progress, and ensuring accurate documentation of outcomes. As a leader of the interdisciplinary team (IDT), the Independent Living Manager represents Macon Resources, Inc. in planning individualized services, evaluating program effectiveness, and ensuring that all supports are provided in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations, licensing and accreditation standards, and agency policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in human services or related field.
  • Must meet the requirement of a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional (QIDP).
  • Minimum of two years’ experience with the developmentally disabled and mental illness.
