Independent Contractors- Carriers
About The Position
Pathmark Transportation is looking for quality independent contractor carriers for OTR (Over-the-Road) routes, based out of our San Antonio location. This role requires you to own your own truck and have your own authority. You will be responsible for loading and unloading as requested by the customer for your delivery route. A handheld scanner is utilized to capture data on all cartons, and deliveries must be made within specified windows. The ability to maintain a steady pace while operating safely and providing a professional and positive experience for our customers is essential.
Requirements
- Must own your own truck
- Must own your own authority
- Must have a valid authority up to Six months
- Provide a valid insurance that meets company standards
Nice To Haves
- Loading and unloading are required as requested by the customer for delivery route.
- A handheld scanner is utilized to capture data on all cartons and deliveries must be made in specified windows
- Must be able to keep a steady pace while operating safely and provide a professional and positive experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Must be able to handle freight up to 70LBS
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups.
- Provide excellent customer service
- Report any issues or discrepancies related to deliveries or equipment promptly
