About The Position

NOW Courier is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Independent Contractor to service a dedicated distribution route within our established Indianapolis, IN operation. This is a high-mileage opportunity requiring a cargo van and is ideal for an experienced delivery professional looking for consistent weekday work. Requirements

• Possess a cargo van suitable for this distribution route. Transit vans are not accepted.
• Vehicle must be 2017 model year or newer.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Own a vehicle that can pass a multi-point inspection and is suitable for delivery.
• Possess a smartphone capable of running our driver app.
• Hold a valid driver's license and commercial insurance coverage with a minimum of $300,000 combined single limit liability.
• Successfully pass a comprehensive pre-employment process including Driving History Review (past 36 months), Criminal Background Check, and Substance Abuse (Drug) Screening.

Responsibilities

• Ensure packages are picked up and delivered safely and on time while maintaining NOW Courier's reputation for reliability and punctuality.
• Utilize GPS or mapping software to efficiently navigate a large multi-county service area while completing deliveries within required timeframes.
• Provide professional, dependable service at every stop while representing your independent business and NOW Courier positively.
• Adapt quickly to traffic, route changes, and other challenges while maintaining accurate and timely deliveries.
• Distribution sorting responsibilities are required.
