About The Position

NOW Courier is seeking dependable, motivated Cargo Van and Sprinter Van Owner-Operators for an established distribution route in Indianapolis and surrounding communities. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor opportunity ideal for individuals who own their delivery vehicle and are looking for consistent weekday work, competitive earnings, and the chance to grow their delivery business. The route operates Monday through Friday, starting at 6:00 AM, with average weekly earnings of approximately $1,500. Compensation is percentage-based, determined by vehicle size and classification. Estimated weekly mileage is 750–1,125 miles, with an average of 35–70 delivery stops per day. Contractors must own a cargo van or Sprinter van (2014 or newer) and be comfortable navigating multiple delivery locations.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must own a cargo van or Sprinter van (2014 or newer) in good working condition, with a professional appearance and no rust.
Vehicle must pass a multi-point vehicle inspection.
Possess a smartphone capable of running the driver app.
Hold a valid driver's license.
Maintain commercial insurance coverage with a minimum of $300,000 combined single limit liability.
Must enroll in While Under Dispatch (WUD) insurance through the third-party contractor management system.
Must successfully pass a comprehensive pre-employment screening process, including a driving history review (past 36 months), criminal background check, and substance abuse screening.

Responsibilities

Picking up, transporting, and delivering packages throughout an assigned distribution route.
Completing approximately 35–70 delivery stops per day.
Operating your own cargo van or Sprinter van safely and professionally.
Loading, organizing, and securing packages for efficient delivery.
Following assigned routes and meeting delivery deadlines.
Maintaining accurate delivery records using our driver application.
Communicating effectively with dispatch and operations personnel.
Providing professional and reliable service at every delivery location.
Ensuring packages are handled carefully and delivered accurately.
