About The Position
Guardian Angel Senior Services is seeking caring and motivated Independent Community Support Workers to provide one-on-one support to individuals in the community. This rewarding position focuses on empowering clients to build independence, confidence, and life skills while remaining active in their communities.
Requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable personality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and responsibly
- Ability to pass background screening requirements
Nice To Haves
- Experience in human services, caregiving, or community support preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist clients with community outings, appointments, and social activities
- Support individuals with daily living and independent living skills
- Encourage community involvement and personal growth
- Assist with goal-setting and skill development
- Maintain accurate documentation and communication with supervisors
- Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment
