About The Position

This role oversees the management of agency action items to ensure timely and effective resolution. The Independent Agency Operations & Performance Manager serves as a central point of coordination to ensure operational efficiency and agent accountability. This includes managing agency action items, monitoring and managing agent debit balances, generating and reviewing monthly performance reports, coordinating triage efforts for various issues, and analyzing production reviews and appeals. The role also involves partnering with various internal teams to support distribution priorities and agent quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years experience in agency distribution.
• Excellent oral, written, and listening communication skills.
• Strong project and time management skills.
• Ability to multi-task along with excellent organizational skills to prioritize work/projects to meet guidelines.
• Proactive, reliable, and accountable self-starter with the ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Strong computer skills with experience in working with email marketing platforms.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the management of agency action items to ensure timely and effective resolution along with recommendations and follow-up.
• Monitors and manages debit balances for agents to ensure timely repayment and resolution and coordinates with Commissions team.
• Generates and reviews monthly reports on agency performance, including production, persistency, and placement metrics and provides appropriate follow-up.
• Coordinate triage efforts in production, persistency, placement and compliance issues.
• Analyzes lack of production reviews and appeals across internal team with appropriate follow up to agent, agency, and national marketing organizations.
• Partners with Contracting, Commissions, Legal, Compliance and Agent Action Committee to support distribution priorities and agent quality.
• Serves as a central point of coordination to ensure operational efficiency and agent accountability.
