We work closely with all parts of the organization to identify, manage and monitor risk, providing coordinated advice and assistance on independence, conflicts, compliance, regulatory, policy, security issues, as well as dealing with claims and any queries regarding ethics. As an Intern supporting the Independence Compliance Audit group, you'll assist with auditing the personal financial independence of EY personnel and other Independence-related projects as needed to mitigate this area of risk for the firm.

Requirements

Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related business discipline
A GPA of 3.0 or above
Approximately 0-2 years of related work experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical, teamwork, and organizational skills
Integrity, professional maturity, dependability, a positive attitude and enthusiasm in the performance of responsibilities

Responsibilities

Interact with team members to complete projects and acquire subject matter knowledge
Attend internal and/or external meetings to gain an understanding of the client needs
Learn and use EY technology tools to contribute to the team’s project work
Use Microsoft technology suite of products to develop spreadsheets, power point and/or word documents
Take direction from others to enable independent work on assignments; report back as needed, to produce quality results
