About The Position

The IND Wrapper/Stacker/Sleever position is responsible for wrapping the positive plates with the appropriate separating material. This position is responsible for stacking the pasted plates and ensuring that all sleeves go around the positive plate. The IND Wrapper/Stacker/Sleever is responsible for ensuring produced parts meet specification and quality characteristics.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age
Minimum 1 year manufacturing/factory experience preferred in a fast-paced setting
Basic math and computer skills
Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, supervision, and management

Responsibilities

Understanding and following policies, procedures and instructions.
Ability to identify and report product, process and quality system non-conformities to lead personnel.
Must support implementation of corrective/preventative and improvement actions.
Follows all plant safety guidelines, practices, and procedures including the proper use of personal protective equipment where required.
Responsible for day-to-day house keeping of the surrounding production floor area.
Wraps and stacks Industrial pasted plates which are put together to form an element.
Ensures that positive plates are wrapped with appropriate material.
Unload plates from a curing rack and check the quality of each plate.
Stack the plates from the machine, onto a skid.
Unloading positive or negative plates from a curing rack and checking the quality of each plate, then loading them into the machine.
Has the ability to run the sleever machine when needed.
Be familiar and compliant with the systems, procedures and documentation of the Crown Quality System and how it relates to this position and Crown quality objectives.
