About The Position

The Industrial Forming position is responsible for performing equipment operations for formed industrial cells while ensuring all produced parts meet specification and quality characteristics.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age
Experience with safety and environmental training
Basic math and computer skills
Ability to use some hand tools

Responsibilities

Understanding and following policies, procedures and instructions
Identifying and reporting product, process and quality system non-conformities to lead personnel.
Supporting implementation of corrective/preventative and improvement actions
Proper use of personal protective equipment when required.
Proper housekeeping of the work area.
Follows all plant safety guidelines, practices, and procedures including the proper use of personal protective equipment where required.
Use the battery assembly diagram to figure out of layout of the battery.
Place intercells on the cells in proper order.
Use a hand torch to burn remaining intercells and cell button together.
Examine work order for any special items.
Responsible for measuring cable layout and length.
Make the cables with proper lead head and install onto the battery.
Be familiar and compliant with the systems, procedures, and documentation of the Crown Quality System and how it relates to this position and Crown quality objectives.
