Former/Fryer Operator - 1st Shift

Reporting to the Production Team Leader, you will support safe, consistent, and high quality production on our foaming and frying lines during 1st shift. You will work hands on with equipment, follow safety and quality standards, and contribute to smooth changeovers, accurate documentation, and reliable line performance. Requirements

  • Previous manufacturing experience.
  • Completion of basic math computations.
  • Understanding of weights and measurements.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

  • Support operators with minor changeover tasks and daily line needs.
  • Perform tasks assigned by your Supervisor or Production Team Leader.
  • Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds as needed for production activities.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the team.
  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices to support consistent, high quality product.
  • Interpret and follow the daily production schedule.
  • Follow all OSHA and plant safety rules while maintaining a safe work area.
  • Assemble and operate highspeed equipment, including kitter, mixer, freezer, former, and fryer (For Level 2).
  • Assist Operators in clearing jams, stacking off, climbing when required, addressing machine faults, loading materials, and verifying code dates (For Level 2).
  • Record required information in CDC systems (For Level 2).
  • Follow Quality Assurance standards and use WinSPC computerized weight control tools (For Level 2).
  • Perform minor repairs and equipment adjustments based on established centerlines (For Level 2).
  • Stage parts needed for changeovers and return parts to the designated cart afterward (For Level 2).
