About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Income Tax Accountant to join our growing tax team. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting both income tax compliance and financial reporting processes in a dynamic corporate environment. Working closely with accounting, legal, and operational teams, you’ll help ensure accurate tax reporting, maintain audit-ready documentation, and contribute to strategic process improvements through automation, data analytics, and standardization initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1–3 years of tax, accounting, or related experience preferred
Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 740 concepts
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Proficiency in Excel and experience working with large data sets
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Nice To Haves

CPA or progress toward CPA preferred
Experience with ERP or tax software systems preferred

Responsibilities

Prepare federal and multistate income tax workpapers and supporting schedules
Support quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations in accordance with ASC 740
Assist with estimated tax payments, reconciliations, and tax analyses
Research tax positions and analyze impacts of business activities and tax law changes
Maintain audit-ready documentation and support internal and external audits
Identify opportunities for process improvements through automation and data analytics
Work with large data sets to support tax reporting and compliance
