The INCOM (Industrial/Commercial/Multifamily) Valuation Manager oversees and directs the work of senior and staff appraisers, ensuring accurate property valuations for ad valorem tax purposes. Responsibilities include performing the most complex appraisals and appeals, planning, prioritizing, assigning, managing, and reviewing appraisal work, while adhering to Oregon Department of Revenue guidelines. This role also addresses assessment-related issues, works closely with Senior Management to recommend and implement objectives, establishes appraisal schedules and methods, and enforces policies and procedures. Additionally, the position requires performing various technical appraisal project management tasks within the assigned area. This position will be a part of the Division of Assessment, Taxation and Recording (DART), within the Department of County Management (DCM). DART strives to ensure the stability and quality of life for our community by providing local government with the revenues necessary to fund essential services.
