The Marlene Meyerson Jewish Community Center in Manhattan is seeking an Inclusion Specialist for its After School Clubhouse program, an inclusive afterschool community for children from Pre-K through Grade 5. The program offers small, age-based groups with creative play, art, physical activity, snack, homework and reading time, and other JCC programs. The Inclusion Specialist will strengthen and implement Clubhouse’s inclusive model so children with diverse learning, communication, sensory, behavioral, and social-emotional needs can meaningfully participate. Working with Clubhouse leadership, staff, families, and the Center for Diverse Abilities (CDA), the specialist will provide consultation, individualized strategies, and staff coaching. The role includes translating information from families, schools, IEPs, evaluations, and other providers into practical afterschool supports that promote continuity across school, home, and Clubhouse. This is a program-wide inclusion and capacity-building role, not a dedicated 1:1 support position. Clubhouse operates Monday through Thursday, 2:30–5:30 p.m., from September through June, following a school-year calendar with scheduled breaks and closures. Duties and responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice.
