The Inclusion Aide will perform duties under general supervision, utilizing initiative and good judgment in the scheduling of work. This role involves ensuring the accuracy of work, assisting students or teachers with problems, and dealing with a variety of persons and situations requiring a high degree of courtesy and tact. The aide must be able to handle a volume of work, meet deadlines, be sensitive to students' needs, and work in cooperation with teachers, students, and administration. Maintaining confidentiality of information associated with the position is crucial. The role requires understanding instructions and underlying principles, meanings of words and ideas, and performing arithmetic operations quickly and accurately. Specific abilities include perceiving pertinent detail in verbal or tabular material, coordinating eyes and hands or fingers rapidly and accurately in making precise movements with speed, moving hands easily and skillfully, and perceiving or recognizing similarities or differences in colors. The aide must perform the essential functions and requirements of the job and meet satisfactory health standards.
