Community Inclusion Aide
About The Position
As a full-time Community Inclusion Aide, you will have the incredible opportunity to work closely with a variety of people who are excited to integrate into their community. Each day, you'll have the privilege of working one-on-one with individuals with disabilities who have their own unique goals and aspirations. Whether it's supporting them in building their skills in the workplace, discovering social or recreational activities that bring them joy, building the necessary skills to live independently, or assisting them in pursuing higher education. Every day will be filled with unique challenges and experiences that will keep you on your toes. With caseloads within the Central to Coastal areas of San Diego, you'll be part of a dynamic team that values flexibility, high performance, and forward thinking.
Requirements
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Resourcefulness
- Teaching skills
- A car in safe working order
- Vehicle insurance
- A valid CA driver's license
- At least 2 years of driving experience
- A high school diploma
Nice To Haves
- A bachelor's degree
- Experience with the I/DD community
