About The Position

INTECON is looking for a highly skilled Incident Management Team (IMT) Coordination Analyst to support the Federal Protective Service (FPS) Operations Center by sustaining IMT readiness, training/certification tracking, and deployment coordination. This role manages IMT administrative and operational coordination activities, including maintaining deployment rosters and personnel status, preparing deployment documentation, and ensuring field equipment is mission-ready. The position operates independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and supports national deployments and surge operations as required by FPS.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (BA/BS or MA/MS).
  • 5 years of relevant experience in data analysis or related work, with familiarity with law enforcement operations and risk analysis; performs functional duties independently.
  • Secret clearance required.

Nice To Haves

  • FEMA/ICS training (e.g., ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-700, ICS-800) or comparable incident management coursework.
  • Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) or Associate Emergency Manager (AEM).
  • Project coordination or logistics-related training/certification (e.g., CAPM/PMP training coursework, logistics readiness training).
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) for roster management, trackers, reporting, and deployment documentation.
  • Collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams) and shared repositories/portals used for controlled distribution and version-controlled documentation.
  • Inventory tracking methods and readiness dashboards/trackers (government or contractor-provided formats as directed).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track IMT member training status, qualifications, and certifications, ensuring readiness records are current, accurate, and auditable for FPS leadership review.
  • Maintain IMT readiness dashboards/trackers and reconcile changes in personnel availability, certifications, and deployment eligibility to support timely staffing decisions.
  • Prepare, edit, and route IMT warning orders, deployment orders, and related tasking documentation to support rapid mobilization and operational tempo requirements.
  • Administer and maintain IMT field equipment (e.g., monitors, projectors, cables, and other office/field support equipment), ensuring operational readiness, accountability, and lifecycle tracking.
  • Prepare IMT equipment for shipment and deployment by coordinating packaging, staging, inventory verification, and documentation needed to support field operations and demobilization requirements.
  • Coordinate with the FPS Watch and MegaCenter(s) to reconcile deployment rosters, personnel status, and accountability reporting requirements, ensuring consistent enterprise-level visibility.
  • Conduct analyses of FPS regional readiness and deployment capability by reviewing rosters, credentialing status, and other readiness indicators to identify gaps, risks, and mitigation actions.
  • Review and analyze situation reports, resource tracking documents, and deployment rosters to support leadership awareness of operational posture and resource allocation.
  • Maintain equipment and readiness inventories, conduct end-user maintenance/care routines, and document corrective actions to prevent readiness degradation.
  • Support IMT mobilization and demobilization coordination by tracking field support actions, equipment movements, and readiness recovery tasks to restore post-deployment capability.
  • Ensure IMT coordination outputs align with Watch production discipline and FPS information management expectations, including version control, controlled distribution, and retrieval readiness.
  • Collaborate with FPS stakeholders to validate requirements, resolve discrepancies in rosters/readiness data, and support leadership-directed reporting and tasking.
