Coordinates training and tracks certifications for Incident Management Team (IMT) members. Administers IMT field equipment including traditional office equipment (monitors, projectors, cables, etc.) and prepares equipment for shipping. May be required to travel to deploy/set-up and demobilize equipment. Prepares/edits warning and deployment orders. Coordinates with the Watch and MegaCenter to reconcile deployment rosters and personnel status. Background The Federal Protective Service (FPS) operates a 24x7x365 national operations center , known as the Federal Protective Service Operations Center (FPSOC) or “The Watch,” which serves as the central hub for situational awareness, information coordination, and operational reporting across FPS. FPS relies on contractor support to assist with watch desk operations, incident monitoring, information synthesis, and briefing production , ensuring timely, accurate information sharing in support of operational and leadership decision-making. Contractor personnel also support virtual Emergency Operations Center (vEOC) activities, Incident Management Team (IMT) deployments , and the maintenance of a Common Operating Picture (COP) to enable coordinated response across FPS and partner organizations.
