About The Position

The primary focus of an Inbound Warehouse Worker is to provide a high level of customer service to our warehouse operations while meeting defined quality and on time performance standards. An Inbound Warehouse Worker must work safely while adapting to the changing needs of our business. All warehouse employees are expected to communicate problems encountered as they pertain to Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery standards. All Inbound Warehouse Workers reporting to the Inbound Department are expected to learn and work in all three functions managed within the department. Overtime will be required as fluctuations in the workload dictates.

Requirements

• Proficiency in sit-down and reach truck forklift operation.
• Hold a valid California Driver’s License
• Forklift certification through Villara Forklift Training Program
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to physically perform the duties of the job (details in Physical Requirements document).
• Clocking in to start work one minute late is considered late.
• Maintain a professional attitude and adhere to all company policies.
• Work well with other team members, sub-contractors, and customers.
• Must be in good attendance and performance standing to be eligible for transfer or promotion.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC and plumbing parts knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory movements according to documented standard works using an RF terminal.
• Unloading of inbound materials
• Move materials within the warehouse while maintaining inventory accuracy.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and address potential workplace hazards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by providing accurate feedback to the leadership team.
• Communicate problems encountered as they pertain to Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery standards.
• Learn and work in all three functions managed within the department: Receiving materials, Material movements, Processing returned materials.
