About The Position

The primary focus of an Inbound Warehouse Worker is to provide a high level of customer service to our warehouse operations while meeting defined quality and on time performance standards. An Inbound Warehouse Worker must work safely while adapting to the changing needs of our business. All warehouse employees are expected to communicate problems encountered as they pertain to Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery standards. The Inbound Department is comprised of three primary warehouse functions: Receiving materials, Material movements, and Processing returned materials. All Inbound Warehouse Workers reporting to the Inbound Department are expected to learn and work in all three functions managed within the department. Overtime will be required as fluctuations in the workload dictates.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Hold a valid California Driver’s License
  • Forklift certification through Villara Forklift Training Program
  • Clocking in to start work one minute late is considered late.
  • Maintain a professional attitude and adhere to all company policies.
  • All Villara employees are expected to work well with other team members, sub-contractors, and customers
  • A Inbound Warehouse Worker must be in good attendance and performance standing to be eligible for transfer or promotion.

Nice To Haves

  • HVAC and plumbing parts knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform inventory movements according to documented standard works using an RF terminal.
  • Proficiency in sit-down and reach truck forklift operation.
  • Unloading of inbound materials
  • Move materials within the warehouse while maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain housekeeping standards and address potential workplace hazards.
  • Perform other duties as communicated by the Supervisor
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by providing accurate feedback to the leadership team
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules and shifts
