About The Position

Motorola Solutions designs, develops, and manufactures video analytics, network video management software and hardware, surveillance cameras, and access control solutions. Motorola solutions fixed video and access control products have been installed at thousands of customer sites, including school campuses, transportation systems, healthcare centers, public venues, critical infrastructure, prisons, factories, casinos, airports, financial institutions, government facilities, and retailers. Reporting to the Inbound Sales Manager, you will serve as the essential first point of contact for our prospective customers. We are looking for a dynamic, highly customer-focused individual who is passionate about consultative sales. In this role, you will actively listen to client needs, recommend the best solutions, and seamlessly guide warm, marketing-qualified leads through the buying process.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of B2B or B2C inside sales experience, with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and managing the full sales cycle.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Demonstrates an engaging and persuasive telephone manner.
  • Exhibits exceptional skills in both written and oral communication.
  • Capable of effectively handling a daily workload of approximately 50 calls (e.g., BANT, MEDDIC).
  • Competent in standard computer applications and experienced with CRM software, specifically Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Highly self-motivated, coachable, adaptable, and a team player capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Applicants must have legal standing for permanent U.S. employment; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of sales experience OR 3+ years experience in sales
  • Candidates must be local to the Allen/Dallas area or willing to commute, as regular in-office presence is required for this role.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required.
  • Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Promptly and professionally handle incoming inquiries via phone, web, and live chat from marketing-qualified leads.
  • Conduct deep discovery by asking the right probing questions to uncover core customer needs, effectively matching them with our tailored products and services.
  • Confidently address and navigate customer concerns regarding pricing, features, or competitor alternatives to keep the sales process moving forward.
  • Meticulously track all customer interactions, BANT qualification data, and contact details within our CRM system to ensure accurate forecasting.
  • Bridge the connection between potential customers and sales team by ensuring high-quality lead transitions and building collaborative internal relationships.
  • Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of our product suite, key benefits, and competitive advantages to serve as a trusted advisor to our prospects.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas and performance metrics.
