About The Position

The Inbound Sales Development Representative will own all inbound leads: demo requests, webinar signups, content downloads, pricing inquiries, and general requests for information. Your job is to engage and qualify these leads, and continue to work them until they show to a demo. This role is making sure qualified leads turn into demos that have intent to buy. The role's purpose is to handle every inbound lead that comes through the door and is the first voice a prospect hears from Applause.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of sales, SDR, or customer-facing experience
  • Speed matters to you. You don't wait around on follow-up and you don't let leads go cold
  • Organized and process-driven without needing to be hand-held
  • Coachable, curious, and genuinely competitive
  • Comfortable on the phone and in writing
  • Effective in a remote setup with a stable 50+ Mbps internet connection
  • Amenable to work graveyard shift

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with the home services industry
  • Experience with a CRM (HubSpot is a plus) is helpful but not required
  • Strong work ethic and discipline

Responsibilities

  • Respond to every inbound lead within 5 minutes of submission
  • Work leads through email and call sequences until they show up to the demo
  • Manage the full inbound lead backlog to work these leads to completion or hand-off
  • Continue to work past-inbound leads to find a way to quota each month when inbound volume dips
  • Keep your CRM tight; activity logged, leads properly staged, nothing falling through the cracks
