Reporting to the Senior Manager, In-store Marketing, the incumbent, will be responsible for the management and delivery of in store Campaigns, Signage and Print materials ensuring that strategic objectives along with innovation through POP captures a unique customer in store experience.

Requirements

  • Adaptable to set and prioritize work with varying exceptions.
  • Business acumen – demonstrated negotiating and multi-tasking skills to manage competing timelines.
  • Strong communication skills to communicate clearly and concisely; both orally and written.
  • Must be highly organized with the ability to handle tight deadlines and last-minute revisions
  • Post secondary education equivalent to a bachelor’s degree or College diploma in Graphic Communications or Marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of print production and processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Minimum 5 years of Project management or Visual Merchandising experience

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced knowledge of Canadian retail, and in-store marketing would be an asset.
  • Experience working with a Retailer or Print Company would be an asset

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end execution of in-store marketing programs, from brief intake through production, distribution, and in-store implementation.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Brand, Agency Operations, Loblaw Agency teams to ensure cohesive and impactful in-store customer experiences.
  • Manage vendor relationships (print, production, and logistics partners), ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and adherence to timelines.
  • Review and validate estimates and budgets, ensuring alignment with brand approvals and overall financial objectives.
  • Lead project timelines and workbacks, proactively identifying risks and implementing solutions to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, enhance tools (e.g., Workfront)
  • Collaborate on innovation initiatives, in store testing and implementing new signage formats, materials, and in-store display solutions.
  • Lead and manage the intake process for Joe Fresh in-store signage across grocery and standalone locations, ensuring accuracy, alignment, and timely execution.
  • Serve as the In-Store Marketing Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Joe Fresh, PC Optimum, and PC Express, providing strategic guidance and operational expertise.
  • Support the management of the Joe Fresh signage portal, ensuring inventory accuracy and up-to-date tracking across all items.
  • Manage the timely execution and delivery of multiple marketing campaigns & print collateral from initial briefing to store launch.
  • Recommend alternative solutions to print projects with respect to process to save on time, costs, substrates and to provide better value or to improve on quality.
  • Act as a primary point of contact to the Marketing teams, to implement instore Marketing programs including workbacks, timing, budgets, shipping, kitting, and fulfillment.
  • Work closely with the Production team to ensure print files meet print specifications and requirements.
  • Provide support as required for store audits and liaison with print vendor to ensure store profiles are maintained.
  • As required source hardware to support POP, or other marketing materials.
  • Participates in key meetings where multiple stakeholders align on objectives and priorities to drive business results.
  • Prepares presentations including communicate new innovations, in situ in store experiences, or cost options.
  • Actively monitor project deliverables to ensure completeness and accuracy and informs management and stakeholders of any issue that may impact delivery.
