About The Position

Work with the Room Service Team to serve guests and ensure a positive guest experience. Set up and deliver food and beverage orders, VIP amenities, and hospitality-suite service according to established company and hotel standards. Maintain sanitation, complete shift side work, respond to guest needs, report communications to the shift supervisor, and handle cash in accordance with company policies. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Ability to communicate well with guests.
Ability to grasp, bend, lift, carry, move, or push goods on a cart weighing up to 100 lbs. on a continuous schedule, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 30 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to adapt communication style for different audiences, including supervisors, coworkers, and the public.

Hotel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Set up and deliver food and beverage orders in accordance with established guidelines, procedures, policies, and company standards.
Conduct floor sweeps and retrieve food and beverage trays to maintain sanitation guidelines.
Set up and deliver VIP amenities.
Service hospitality suites in accordance with Banquet Event Orders and established policies and procedures.
Complete shift side work outlined in the hotel’s operating policies and procedures.
Respond to customer needs, issues, comments, and problems to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales.
Report all communication to the immediate shift supervisor.
Perform cash-handling responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
