About The Position

The In-Room Dining Server will be responsible for assisting guests with their telephone orders, announcing current menu items, ingredients, and daily specials, and suggesting additional menu options. This role involves promptly serving food while ensuring quality and accuracy of orders, maintaining proper presentation of all food deliveries, and performing all duties in adherence to the Chatham Bars Inn Service Standards. Other tasks may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Superior customer service and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work for long hours.
Servers should also be well groomed.
Superior organizational skills.
Can work well in a team setting as well as independently.
Enjoys a fast-paced environment.
Ensures proper methods of payment from guests.
Follows direction well.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Being flexible with schedules and hours (including weekends & holidays).
Able to work with cleaning chemicals/products.
Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record necessary.
Current TIPS Alcohol Certification or comparable alcohol service certification.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in Room Service or as a Server is preferred but not necessary.
Availability to work through the fall preferred.
