About The Position

This is an on-call role and may be scheduled 0-40 hours per week based on business need. Truly memorable hotel experiences don’t stop at the restaurant door. As an In-Room Dining Server, you’ll bring exceptional service directly to our guests’ rooms, creating a seamless and personalized dining experience from the moment an order is received to the moment it is delivered and beyond. We’re looking for someone who is warm, attentive, and confident in delivering food and beverage service with care, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a food server role is required.
  • The ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 lbs (23 kg), including bending, kneeling, and maneuvering service carts.
  • A good grasp of reading, writing, and basic mathematics.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately handle guest orders and special requests.
  • A warm, welcoming personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently while remaining a dependable member of the hotel team.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of food safety and responsible alcohol service requirements, with compliance with all applicable local laws and regulations.
  • A professional appearance and a genuine desire to create memorable guest experiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in an In-Room Dining role at an upscale/luxury hotel is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering food and beverage orders to guest rooms promptly, accurately, and with a friendly, professional approach.
  • Providing attentive, personalized service while respecting guest privacy and the hotel’s standards for in-room dining.
  • Setting up trays, tables, and in-room dining presentations to ensure orders are delivered beautifully and according to guest requests.
  • Reviewing orders for accuracy, including special requests, dietary needs, and beverage selections, before delivery.
  • Clearing trays, dishes, and equipment from guest rooms, guest floor hallways, and designated collection areas in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining clean, organized, and fully stocked service areas, equipment, and supplies.
  • Following all food safety, sanitation, and hotel procedures while minimizing waste.
  • Keeping your supervisor or duty manager informed about guest feedback, service concerns, equipment issues, low supplies, or safety incidents.
  • Assisting with set-up, clean-up, and other ad-hoc duties to keep the In-Room Dining operation running smoothly.
