About The Position

We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Grand Del Mar, as our new In-Room Dining Coordinator. This role is responsible for providing professional, friendly, and engaging service to guests, understanding and executing all roles of In Room Dining based on business needs. The coordinator will assist guests with menu inquiries, possess full knowledge of beverage lists and menu items, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages. Responsibilities also include picking up orders from the kitchen, checking outgoing orders for quality and accuracy, and adhering to all safety and sanitation policies.

Requirements

• Previous Food & Beverage service experience preferred
• Previous Silverware, Opera or similar Point of Sale Programs preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Applicants must be legally eligible to work the United States.

• Have full knowledge of all beverage lists
• Deliver food and beverage in a timely and accurate manner
• Pick up orders efficiently from the kitchen
• Check outgoing orders for quality and accuracy of set up
• Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
• Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage.
