About The Position

An In-process inspector provides support for Manufacturing through the process of inspection audits of in-process product and reports the quality status to Production and Quality management.

Requirements

Self-motivated, team-oriented individual.
Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Able to work effectively with others.
High school or equivalent education.
Must be able to distinguish color differences and visually discern minute defects and details of manufactured goods.
Knowledge of product processes and procedures should enable them, with experience, to identify and report any irregularity or non-conformance to management for corrective action.
Lift, push, or pull up to and including fifty (50) pound cartons.
Work for extended periods on hard surfaces.
Work overtime, as necessary.

Nice To Haves

Computer skills is a plus.
Previous molding and mechanical inspection experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Supports customer requirements through the use of the Quality Management System procedures in order to verify product quality, adherence to established processes/procedures, document findings and report results.
Supports the team as necessary with training or other special projects.
May be required to perform Final Inspection and/or Quality Technician duties as necessary.
May be required to help with training of novice inspectors.
May be required to report to work early or stay late to cover another inspector's shift.
Communicate with manufacturing supervisors and manufacturing operators when defects are found in production.
