About The Position

Majors Plastics, a 100% Employee Owned company is currently seeking an In-Process Inspector to join our Quality Department. An In-Process Inspector provides support for Manufacturing through the process of audits and reports the quality status to Production and Quality management.

Requirements

Must be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Must be able to work effectively with others.
High school or equivalent education.
May be required to lift, push, or pull up to and including fifty (50) pound cartons.
Must be able to work for extended periods on hard surfaces.
Must be able to distinguish color differences.
Must be able to visually discern minute defects and details of manufactured goods.

Nice To Haves

Computer skills is a plus.
Previous molding and mechanical inspection experience is preferred, but not necessary.
Previous inspection experiences a plus!

Responsibilities

Supports customer requirements through the use of the Quality Management System procedures in order to verify product quality, document findings and report results.
Supports the team as necessary with training or other special projects.
Will be required at times to help with training of novice inspectors.
May be required to report to work early or stay late to cover another inspector's shift.
