About The Position

Majors Plastics, a 100% Employee Owned company is currently seeking an In-Process Inspector to join our Quality Department. An In-Process Inspector provides support for Manufacturing through the process of audits and reports the quality status to Production and Quality management.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Must have good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must be able to work effectively with others.
  • High school or equivalent education.
  • May be required to lift, push, or pull up to and including fifty (50) pound cartons.
  • Must be able to work for extended periods on hard surfaces.
  • Must be able to distinguish color differences.
  • Must be able to visually discern minute defects and details of manufactured goods.

Nice To Haves

  • Computer skills is a plus.
  • Previous molding and mechanical inspection experience is preferred, but not necessary.
  • Previous inspection experiences a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Supports customer requirements through the use of the Quality Management System procedures in order to verify product quality, document findings and report results.
  • Supports the team as necessary with training or other special projects.
  • Will be required at times to help with training of novice inspectors.
  • May be required to report to work early or stay late to cover another inspector's shift.
