About The Position

Travel + Leisure Co. is a leading vacation ownership and travel membership company with a dynamic portfolio of resort, travel club, and lifestyle travel brands. Our associates contribute to the mission of putting the world on vacation through innovation and growth, offering opportunities to learn and create exceptional experiences for travelers. This role involves in-person marketing at resorts, engaging prospective and current owners, and scheduling guests for presentations with representatives. The position emphasizes being a positive brand ambassador, partnering with resort staff, greeting and incentivizing customers for sales-preview tours, and screening/qualifying potential customers based on company guidelines. Additionally, it requires making sales-tour reservations and collecting deposits. A significant portion of the role (80%) involves direct customer interaction, while the remaining 20% is dedicated to training, meetings, staying updated on marketing information, industry trends, and performance goal reviews.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment within a shared space.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, general computer skills and smart devices.
  • Must maintain production standards.

Nice To Haves

  • Sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, not required.
  • 1 to 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, not required.
  • Experience equivalent to the education requirement may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a positive and professional brand ambassador for Wyndham Destinations
  • Partner with the resort staff to receive arrival sheets of guests checking in
  • Greet, present, and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales-preview tour
  • Screen and qualify potential customers based on company guidelines
  • Make sales-tour reservations and collect required deposits
  • Attend all scheduled training sessions, department meetings, keep current on marketing information and materials, keep current on industry trends, and set and review performance goals weekly, monthly and annually.
