About The Position

As an In-House Coordinator (IHC) at LifeShare Network, you will be a vital connection between hospital staff, families, and the organ and tissue donation process. This role blends critical care expertise with education and family advocacy, allowing you to make a profound impact on the lives of donors and recipients. You will contribute to a mission that touches countless lives by ensuring every opportunity for organ and tissue donation is handled with compassion, excellence, and respect.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Respiratory Therapist (RT) with 2+ years of critical care experience
• Licensed in the state of Oklahoma
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

• Conduct rounds and connect with nurses on referrals
• Provide in-services and training for new staff
• Partner with physicians to organize annual education events
• Clinically evaluate donor patients and preserve donation options
• Manage all aspects of donation cases during and after recovery
• Facilitate honor walks, memory-making activities, and flag ceremonies
• Present donation options to legal next-of-kin with compassion and clarity
• Provide emotional support to families through the donation journey
• Track and report quality metrics
• Help implement strategies to improve donation practices
