About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and flexible helper to provide occasional support for a client recovering from a stroke in South Holland, IL. The client currently has someone assisting once or twice a week but would like to have an additional caregiver available when needed. This role involves picking up food, assisting with simple errands, vacuuming and cleaning floors, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and tidying the home, taking out the trash, making the client's bed, and providing general light housekeeping and home organization. The schedule is on-call/as needed, approximately 1-2 hours per week, with flexible days and times. The ideal candidate is reliable, responsive to short-notice requests, comfortable with light housekeeping and simple errands, flexible, friendly, respectful, and dependable. Experience supporting clients recovering from a stroke is a plus. This role is best suited for a flexible and dependable helper who can step in when needed and provide practical household support, helping the client maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable home while preserving his independence.
