In-Home Support Counselor
About The Position
Support Counselor $18.50/hour. We are looking for dedicated and caring people to work with adult aged individuals with developmental/intellectual disabilities. Requirements
- High School Diploma or its equivalent
- A valid driver's license
- Compassion and ability to see the potential in everyone
- Positivity and a team-player attitude
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals in their homes or apartments.
- Teach individuals skills that can help them lead a more independent life.
- Work in tandem with the individual and the in-home supports team to help those we serve learn the skills they need to help care for themselves.
- Help the people we support gain more independence, confidence and pride in being able to do things for themselves.
